Terah, first of all, I enjoyed the poem.
There are often things we feel we discard that re-emerge in the future. Some of these things will be dealt with then and some we will discard when the time is right. They can be silent and thought disposed of but leap into action at the appropriate time. 🙂
This poem represents a lapse in faith. It doesn’t happen often 🙂
